About the team
Jean Morency
Founder, CEO, Business Management Consultant
Mr. Jean Morency is the founder of Exodium LLC, a company that provides migration advice to clients worldwide. With 38 years of professional experience in business and international trade, Jean has launched or collaborated in launching 15 businesses and assisted countless entrepreneurs in growing their ventures. Born in Canada, Jean currently resides in the United States and has lived in five countries, traveling for business to 27 countries or overseas territories. Fluent in French, English, Spanish, and some Portuguese, Jean has operated businesses in six countries and had clients in 35 countries worldwide.
Prior to launching Exodium, Jean served as a compliance consultant in the financial field and achieved the designation of a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist. He significantly contributed to the creation of two AML/CFT education programs with universities, including one program with the United Nations’ University for Peace. Jean co-founded the World Compliance Institute and the World Compliance Forum and was a faculty member of a Global Tier-1 Bank. With a comprehensive understanding of compliance matters, Jean plays a critical role in successful migration projects.
Throughout his career, Jean has provided advisory and training services to business executives, regulators, senior public servants, members of the legislature, and government cabinet members. He has worked with a wide range of clients, including Fortune 500 corporations, international and regional businesses, central banks, regulatory agencies, and governments. Jean developed an interest in migration programs, including residency and citizenship by investment, while conducting Customer Screening & Enhanced Due Diligence for governmental agencies.
Chad Buchanan
Marketing Manager, Video Editor, Webmaster
Chad Buchanan is a Real Estate Agent, Website Designer, Professional Photographer, Video Editor, and Digital Marketing Expert with a diverse background in various media industries.
In 1993, Chad earned a Graduate Gemology Degree from the Gemological Institute of America. He began his media career as a freelance prop and set film assistant (1994-1998) and photographer for Stella Photography (1998-2004) in Los Angeles, California.
Between 2004 and 2007, Chad worked in New York and Los Angeles as a photographer for Landov Media (2005-2013) and the Patrick McMullan Company (2004-2007). He contributed as a freelance photographer and videographer for Splash News (2009-2016) and Getty Images (2006-2017).
In 2008, Chad relocated to Berlin, Germany, and continued his work as a news, entertainment, and fashion photographer and videographer until 2018.
From 2019 to 2021, Chad served as the Marketing Manager and Digital Media Producer for Fortune Energy Inc and Haha Smart Solar in Simi Valley, California.
Currently, Chad is a digital media producer for Goldstar Media LLC in Vero Beach, FL (since 2016) and a news editor and webmaster for Exodium LLC (since 2021) in Miami and Vero Beach, Florida.
As a former member of the prestigious Screen Actors Guild, the German and Bavarian Journalist Associations, and a connoisseur of the world, Chad Buchanan brings his extensive experience to Exodium LLC.
